Bijora and Namkeen Jalebi
Namkeen jalebis made from gram flour, salt and a dash of chilli are added to a drink made from raw mangos and served with crispies made from split black grams and seasame seeds among other ingredients.

  • FOR Bijora
  • 100 gm split black gram
  • water
  • ½ inch ginger
  • salt
  • 1 tsp red chilli powder
  • 1 cup grated white pumpkin
  • 1 cup white sesame seeds
  • oil for frying

  • FOR Namkeen Jalebi
  • gram flour
  • salt
  • red chilli powder
  • oil for frying

    Procedure to make Namkeen Jalebi: In a mixer, jar add soaked spilt black grams, water and grind it.

    Add the paste in a bowl, grated ginger, salt, red chilli powder.

    Add grated bottle gourd, white sesame seeds and mix it well.

    To prepare Bijora, apply oil on hands and make a small tikki on a plate.

    In the coconut shell make a hole.
  6. 6

    Add the batter in a coconut shell.
  7. 7

    In a heated fry pan add oil and fry the Namkeen Jalebi until it turns brown.
  8. 8

    Fry the Bijora in the same oil.
