  • 3 bitter gourds
  • Oil for frying
  • FOR Stuffing
  • ½ cup boiled potatoes and grated
  • 3 to 4 tsp peanut powder
  • 1 tsp condensed milk solids
  • 1 tsp coriander powder
  • ½ tsp red chilli powder
  • tsp turmeric powder
  • salt
  • FOR Batter
  • 3 tbsp gram flour
  • ½ tsp red chilli powder
  • salt
  • water
  • FOR Masala
  • 3 to 4 tbsp oil
  • 2 tsp ginger garlic paste
  • 1 cup onion paste
  • 1 tsp red chilli powder
  • 1 tsp coriander powder
  • 1 cup tomato puree
  • 1 tsp All ground spice
  • salt
  • water

HOW TO PREPARE BHARWAN KARELA

    Take boiled and grated potatoes in a bowl.
  2. 2

    Add a little peanut powder condensed milk solid, salt, coriander powder, red chilli powder and turmeric powder.

    Mix well to make the filling for the bitter gourds.
  4. 4

    Slit the bitter gourds and fill the mixture inside.
  5. 5

    Prepare a batter by mixing some gram flour, salt, red chilli powder and water.
  6. 6

    Dip the stuffed bitter gourds in the batter, ensuring they are coated on all sides and fry them in the oil.

    Transfer the fried bitter gourds to a tissue paper and drain the oil.
  8. 8

    Heat a little oil in another pan.
  9. 9

    Add a little ginger garlic paste onion paste, red chilli powder, coriander powder and salt.

    Mix all with a little water.

    Add tomato puree into this mixture.

    Also add some all ground spice and water if required.

    Mix again to prepare the masala.

    Take the masala in a serving plate.
  15. 15

    Place the fried bitter gourds on the top.
  16. 16

    Add the masala on the top of it again and then serve.
