INGREDIENTS

  • FOR Besan Ki Machli
  • 1 onion; 1 green chilli; 2 garlic cloves; 2 tbsp oil; ½ tsp cumin seeds; 250 gm gram flour; ½ tsp red chilli powder; ¼ tsp turmeric powder; salt; water; oil for frying

  • 2 tbsp mustard oil; 1 tbsp soaked mustard seeds; 2-inch ginger; 8 garlic cloves; ½ tsp red chilli powder; ½ tsp turmeric powder; ½ tsp cumin seeds; 1 onion; 1 green chilli; 3 tomatoes; salt; water; Coriander leaves

HOW TO PREPARE BESAN KI MACHLI AND BHABHARA

    Procedure to make Besan ki Machli: On chopping board chop onions, green chilli, garlic cloves.

    In a heated pan add oil, add cumin seeds, chopped garlic, chopped green chilli, some chopped onions and mix it.

    In a bowl add gram flour, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, salt, water and prepare a batter.

    Add the batter in the pan and cook until it turns thick.

    Add the Besan mixture in a tray and refrigerate it.

    In a heated pan add mustard oil.

    In a mixer add soaked mustard seeds, diced ginger, garlic cloves, red chilli powder, water and prepare a paste.

    In the heated mustard oil add cumin seeds, chopped onions and mix it.

    Add chopped green chilli, mustard, ginger, garlic paste and stir it.

    Add chopped tomatoes, salt, water and let it boil.

    Cut the chunks of Besan mixture and deep fry it in mustard oil until it turns golden brown.

    Add the fried Besan Machli in the gravy and let it cook.

    in a pan add mustard oil and make prude of green peas, gram flour and cook until it turns golden brown.

    Garnish Besan ki Machli with fresh coriander leaves and it is ready to serve.
