  • 2 cups sweet plums
  • ¼ cup tangy plums
  • water as required
  • salt to taste
  • ½ cup sugar
  • 2 cup sugar
  • water as required
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 3-4 cloves
  • 2 black cardamoms
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • salt to taste
  • 1½ tsp dry ginger powder

    To make Berry chutney, cook sweet plum, sour plum, water, salt and sugar in a cooker.

    Add sugar, water, bay leaves, cloves, large cardamom, black pepper, salt and dry ginger powder in a pan and mix the plum in it and let it cook for 30 minutes.

    After cooking, add vinegar to it and then serve.
