INGREDIENTS

  • 1-litre milk
  • 4 to 5 grated beetroot
  • 1 cup of sugar
  • 1/2 tsp green cardamom powder
  • 2 tbsp ghee
  • 2 tbsp cashew nuts
  • 20 gm raisins
  • 2 tbsp almonds
  • Chopped pistachios

HOW TO PREPARE BEETROOT HALWA

  1. 1

    In a pan, add milk and let it boil. Add grated beetroot and let it soak it in milk.
  2. 2

    Add sugar, green cardamom powder, ghee and mix it well and let it cook. Add chopped cashew nuts, raisins, almonds and mix it well.
  3. 3

    Garnish with chopped pistachios and serve.
