INGREDIENTS

  • 2 beetroots
  • peeled
  • 2 tbsp mustard powder
  • ¼ tsp asafoetida
  • 1 tbsp red chilli powder
  • salt
  • water

HOW TO PREPARE BEET ROOT KANJI

    Finely slice the beetroots.
  2. 2

    Add to a glass mason jar.
  3. 3

    Pour sufficient water in the jar.
  4. 4

    Add mustard powder asafoetida, red chilli powder, and salt.
  5. 5

    Shake it well.
  6. 6

    Keep this jar in sunlight for 6 to 7 days.
  7. 7

    Kanji is ready to serve.
