INGREDIENTS

  • 1/2 kg boiled mutton
  • 2 tbsp desi ghee
  • 2 sliced onions
  • pink salt as per taste
  • 1 tsp ginger-garlic paste
  • 1 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp coriander powder
  • 1 tsp red chilli powder
  • 1 mace
  • 1 black cardamom
  • 2 cinnamon sticks
  • 1/2 tsp cumin seeds
  • 3 - 4 cloves & cardamom
  • 1/2 tsp black peppercorns
  • 1/2 cup curd
  • 1 cup mutton stock
  • crushed red chilli
  • 1/2 tbsp crushed coriander seeds
  • For garnish: coriander leaves

HOW TO PREPARE BANJARA MUTTON GOSHT

  1. 1

    In a heated pan, add desi ghee, sliced onions and fry it until it turns golden brown. Add salt as per taste and mix.

    Add ginger-garlic paste and saute. Add turmeric powder, coriander powder, red chilli powder, mace. Add black cardamom, cinnamon sticks, cumin seeds, cloves, cardamom, black peppercorns and mix.

    Add the mutton and mix it well. Add curd and let it cook. Add mutton stock, a pinch of crushed red chilli, coriander seeds and cook it for 30 minutes.
  4. 4

    Garnish with coriander leaves and serve.
