INGREDIENTS

  • 2 bananas diced
  • 1 cup refined flour
  • ½ cup corn starch
  • Baking powder a pinch
  • water
  • oil for frying
  • ½ cup sugar
  • Ice cold water
  • Sesame seeds
  • Banana slices

PREPARATION

    Peel the bananas and cut into round pieces. In a bowl, add refined flour, corn starch, baking powder, and water. Mix well. Heat oil for deep frying. Dip the banana pieces individually in the batter and deep fry until they are golden brown. Drain excess oil with a tissue paper. In another pan, add sugar and caramelise. Dip the fried banana pieces in the caramelised sugar and then in the bowl of ice cold water one by one. Serving the toffees and garnish with sesame seeds and banana slices.
