  • 3 ripe bananas; 2 tbsp caster sugar; 2 eggs; ½ tsp baking soda; ½ cup milk; Vanilla essence; 1 tbsp olive oil; 1 cup refined flour; olive oil; Chocolate caramel sauce; For Garnish: Icing sugar for dusting; Caramel sticks.

    Peel the bananas and roughly chop them.

    ; Transfer to a bowl and mash well.

    ; To this add caster sugar, eggs, and milk.

    ; Beat well.

    ; Add baking soda, vanilla essence, and olive oil to the mixture.

    ; Add refined flour and whisk until the batter is viscous.

    ; Allow to rest for 5 minutes.

    ; Prepare loaf pan by greasing it with some olive oil.

    ; Pour the batter in the loaf pan and bake at 180 C for 20 min.

    ; Check whether the bread is baked by inserting a knife.

    ; If the knife comes out clean the bread is well baked.

    ; Slice the bread and dust with icing sugar and garnish with caramel stick just before serving.
