Peel the bananas and roughly chop them. Transfer to a bowl and mash well. To this add caster sugar, eggs, and milk. Beat well. Add baking soda, vanilla essence, and olive oil to the mixture. Add refined flour and whisk until the batter is viscous. Allow to rest for 5 minutes. Prepare loaf pan by greasing it with some olive oil. Pour the batter in the loaf pan and bake at 180 C for 20 min. Check whether the bread is baked by inserting a knife. If the knife comes out clean the bread is well baked. Slice the bread and dust with icing sugar and garnish with caramel stick just before serving. Serve banana bread with chocolate caramel sauce.
