INGREDIENTS

  • FOR the dumplings
  • 1½ cup Refined flour
  • ½ tsp baking powder
  • ¼ tsp baking soda
  • ½ tsp balsamic vinegar
  • ½ tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tbsp butter (room temperature)
  • 2 tbsp Olive oil
  • FOR the vegetables
  • 1 tbsp Olive oil
  • 1onionsliced
  • 3-4button mushroomssliced
  • ½ cup carrotsblanched and chopped
  • ½ cup potatoesboiled and chopped
  • 1 tbsp
  • ½ tsp butter
  • 2 tbsp balsamic vinegar
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • Few sticks of fresh thyme
  • ¼ cup vegetable stock

HOW TO PREPARE BAKED VEGETABLES WITH DUMPLINGS

    Prepare a soft dough on the kitchen platform with refined flour, adding baking powder, baking soda, Balsamic vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, butter and olive oil.

    Spread the dough a little and then using a cookie cutter, cut cookies from the rolled dough.
  3. 3

    In a baking dish or a ceramic pot, spread butter, add onions, garlic, mushroom, blanched carrots and blanched potatoes to it.

    Add Balsamic vinegar, Worcestershire sauce and a few sticks of fresh thyme.

    In a heavy-bottomed pan, heat olive oil and add some thyme twigs.
  6. 6

    Pour the olive oil into the ceramic pot, retaining the thyme sticks in the pan and add vegetable stock to the pot.

    Add the sliced mushrooms to it.
  8. 8

    Also add the garlic cloves again.

    In the same heavy bottomed pan, place the cookies and bake them for five minutes on both sides.

    Once the cookies turn a golden brown in colour, place them one-by-one in the ceramic pot containing the vegetables.

    In a pre-heated baking pot, place the baking stones at the bottom and on them the ceramic pot.

    Close the lid and bake for about 10 or more minutes.
  13. 13

    Serve using fresh thyme sticks and a little olive oil for garnish.
