INGREDIENTS

  • 2 slices bread
  • Butter for greasing
  • For Mixture 1: oil as required
  • 1 tsp chopped garlic
  • 3 tbsp chopped onions
  • 2 tbsp chopped leeks
  • 3 to 4 tbsp chopped red yellow and green bell peppers
  • 4 to 5 tbsp rawas fish minced
  • black pepper powder to taste
  • salt to taste
  • For Mixture 2: 1egg
  • 1 tsp chopped parsley
  • 4 tbsp Fresh cream
  • For Garnish: chopped parsley

PREPARATION

    For the filling heat oil in a pan. Add some chopped garlic and onions. Saute well. Add some chopped leeks and red, yellow, and green bell peppers. When half cooked add the minced fish and mix well with the vegetables. Cook for some time. Season with black pepper powder and salt and mix again. For the second mixture, combine the egg with chopped parsley and fresh cream. Mix well. Mix the fish mixture with the egg mixture. Discard the edges of the bread slices. Grease the cake moulds with butter. Line a bread slice in each mould and press the slice well to fit the mould. Place the fish filling carefully on the lined bread slices. Bake in a pre heated oven for 12 minutes at 180 C. Transfer the baked fish cake to a serving plate. Garnish with chopped parsley.
