Atta ki Pinni
Pinni is synonymous to Punjabi cuisine and weddings. Atta Ki Pinni is made during Punjabi weddings and the bride generally takes it to her in-law's house. Chef Ajay Chopra shares the recipe for Pinni that will surely make you drool.

INGREDIENTS

  • FOR Ingredients to prepare Atta ki Pinni:
  • 2 tbsp ghee
  • 1 tbsp edible gum
  • 50 grams almonds
  • 50 grams cashew nuts
  • FOR Silm Pinni
  • 1 tbsp ghee
  • 500 grams whole wheat flour
  • 2 cups sugar
  • FOR Garnish
  • Vark

HOW TO PREPARE ATTA KI PINNI

    Procedure to make Atta ki Pinni:.

    In a heated pan add ghee and let it melt.
  3. 3

    Add edible gum and let it cook.
  4. 4

    Add almonds, cashew nuts and let it toast.
  5. 5

    Crush the toasted nuts.
  6. 6

    In a heated pan add ghee, whole wheat flour and stir it until it turns golden brown.
  7. 7

    To the flour, add ground sugar, the mixture of nuts and mix it well.
  8. 8

    Add ghee and mix it again.
  9. 9

    Transfer the Pinni mixture in a plate and let it cool.
  10. 10

    Prepare small balls of the Pinni mixture.
  11. 11

    Garnish it with vark and Atta ki Pinni is ready to serve.
