Arvi Ki Kachori
Here' s an absolutely delicious kachori. This is an ideal recipe to make a deep fried snack.

INGREDIENTS

  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 10 to 12 chopped and boiled taro root
  • 1 tsp Carom seeds
  • 2 tsp chopped ginger
  • ½ tsp chopped green chillies
  • 1 tsp chopped coriander
  • ½ tsp dry mango powder
  • 2 tsp raw mango chopped
  • 2 tsp chopped dates
  • 2 tsp dried apricots chopped
  • Ready dough as required
  • salt to taste
  • oil for frying
  • For Garnish Fresh apricots
  • Tamarind chutney
  • Coriander leaves

HOW TO PREPARE ARVI KI KACHORI

  1. 1

    Heat a little oil in a pan and fry both sides of the boiled and chopped taro root until its colour turns brown.
  2. 2

    Add carom seeds, chopped ginger, chopped green chillies, chopped coriander, salt, dry mango powder, chopped raw mango, chopped dates and chopped dried apricots.
  3. 3

    Mix them well with the fried taro roots.
  4. 4

    Transfer the contents to a bowl.
  5. 5

    Mash it well and allow it to cool for 10 to 12 minutes.
  6. 6

    Flatten the already prepared dough.
  7. 7

    Make different round shapes.
  8. 8

    Fill it with the mashed mixture and then seal the edges.
  9. 9

    Fry these in the hot oil in a separate pan.
  10. 10

    Once fried drain the excess oil.
  11. 11

    Transfer it to a serving plate.
  12. 12

    Garnish it with fresh chopped apricots tamarind chutney and coriander leaves.
