  • 250 gm boiled and peeled colocasia roots
  • ½ cup chopped onions
  • 2 to 3 tsp chopped green chillies
  • ½ tsp red chilli powder
  • ½ tsp dry mango powder
  • ½ tsp cumin powder
  • salt to taste
  • 1 tsp chopped coriander
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • 2 tbsp rice flour
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • oil for drizzling
  • For Garnish Red chopped cabbage
  • chopped coriander
  • grated coconut
  • For Serving Green chutney

    Boil and peel the colocasia roots and press them with your palms to form a tikki. Marinate with chopped onions, chopped green chillies, red chilli powder, dry mango powder, chopped coriander, lemon juice and salt. Mix well. Take some rice flour in a plate to coat the colocasia tikkis. Coat the tikkis with rice flour. Heat some oil in a pan and shallow fry the tikkis on both sides for a few minutes till they turn golden brown. Drizzle oil while frying. Plate the tikkis in a serving plate and garnish with chopped red cabbage, chopped coriander, grated coconut. Serve hot with green chutney.
