INGREDIENTS

  • 2 green onion stalk
  • 3 to 4 fresh red chillies
  • 2 tsp garlic
  • arbi 1/2 kg colocasia roots
  • rice flour for coating
  • salt
  • 4 tbsp mustard oil
  • For kadi
  • 2 tbsp mustard oil
  • 2 tbsp rice flour
  • 400 ml sour buttermilk
  • salt
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1/2 tsp red chilli powder
  • 1 tsp coriander powder

PREPARATION

    Make paste of spring onion red chillies and garlic, peel colocasia root add salt and rice flour and toss to coat rice flour on each colocasia root.

    saute coated arabi in mustard oil saute till crisp from outside.
  3. 3

    In second pan fry green onion paste in mustard oil, mix rice flour and sour buttermilk to make a mix.

    Add the mix to green onion paste and whisk.

    In pan add salt, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, coriander powder and stir well add crisp colocasia root and cook till done.
