INGREDIENTS

  • FOR Mixture 1
  • ½ boiled yam
  • 1½ tbsp oil
  • ½ tsp mustard seeds
  • 10 to 15 curry leaves
  • 1 tbsp coconut
  • ½ tsp red chilli powder
  • ½ tsp turmeric powder
  • Salt
  • ½ lemon juice
  • FOR Mixture 2
  • 2 tbsp ghee
  • ½ tsp cumin powder
  • 1 cup green peas
  • 1 tsp ginger garlic paste
  • Salt
  • 1 tsp red chilli powder
  • 2 tbsp coriander leaves
  • 1 cup milk
  • FOR Sauce
  • 1½ tbsp ghee
  • ½ tsp cumin seeds
  • 1½ tbsp refined flour
  • 2 cups coconut milk
  • 1 tbsp green chutney
  • ½ tsp green chilli paste
  • FOR Garnish
  • Sweet potato chips
  • 1 red amaranth leave
  • Salt
  • Lemon juice

HOW TO PREPARE AMERICAN CORN STUFFED RICE PODLOO

    Grind boiled rice water and curd in a mixer grinder.

    Grind them well.
  3. 3

    For the batter: In a mixing bowl, add gram flour, wheat flour, ginger garlic paste, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, sugar, salt, chopped coriander, chopped green chillies, curd, the prepared grinded rice paste, baking soda and oil.

    Mix them well.

    Allow the batter to rest to 5 to 7 minutes.

    In a mixing bowl, add corn, chopped tomatoes, green chutney, green chillies, salt and chopped coriander leaves.

    Mix them well.

    Heat a pan and pour a ladleful of batter and make small pancakes.
  9. 9

    Then place the prepared stuffing at the centre of the pancake and fold it.
  10. 10

    Place the pancakes onto a plate and serve it with Mango chunda.
  11. 11

    Garnish it with red chilli powder and garlic green stalk.
