INGREDIENTS

  • 1 tbsp oil
  • 1 tsp cumin seeds
  • 1 cup sliced onions
  • 3 died red chillies
  • 1 cup sliced tomatoes
  • 1 tsp dry mango powder
  • salt to taste
  • oil for frying
  • For Marinade:1 cup ridge gourd ribbons
  • 1 to 2 tbsp corn flour
  • 1 tsp dry mango powder
  • salt to taste
  • For Garnish: chopped coriander

HOW TO PREPARE AMCHOOR TURAI

    Marinate in a bowl the ridge gourd ribbons, corn flour, salt and dry mango powder.

    Heat oil in a pan, deep fry the marinated ridge gourd ribbons and set aside on a tissue paper.
  3. 3

    In a different pan, heat oil and add cumin seeds, dried red chillies, sliced onions and sliced tomatoes and toss well and add the fried ridge gourd ribbons, salt and dry mango powder.

    Mix well.

    Serve hot in a plate and garnish with chopped coriander.
