INGREDIENTS

  • 1½ cup milk
  • 5 cloves
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 1 tsp nutmeg powder
  • rock salt
  • 10 gm pecan nuts
  • 1 tsp clove powder
  • 1 tsp cinnamon powder
  • 1 cup amaranth seeds
  • ¼ cup maple syrup
  • 1 pear
  • 4 tbsp honey
  • greek yogurt
  • ginger
  • sea salt

PREPARATION

    Heat a pot and a pan.
  2. 2

    To the pan add milk, clove, cinnamon sticks, nutmeg powder, rock salt and pecan nuts.

    Add clove powder, cinnamon powder and let it boil.
  4. 4

    To the heated pot add amaranth seeds, milk and stir.
  5. 5

    To the heated pot add amaranth seeds, milk and stir.

    Add maple syrup, flavoured milk and stir it.

    Prick a pear using a fork and add it in the bowl.

    To the bowl add honey and marinate the pear.

    Bake the pear in the oven at 150' C - 160' C for 10 - 12 minutes.

    Add honey in the pot and mix it well.

    To garnish add roasted pear, greek yoghurt, pecan nut, ginger, clove powder, cinnamon powder, sea salt, honey and nutmeg powder.

    Amaranth & Pear Porridge is ready to serve.
