Aloo Jeera Ki Sabji & Poori

Jeera Aloo and Puri is a favourite dish that can be had for breakfast as well as lunch. Chef Pallavi’s guest Poonam Srivastava shares her special recipe of Jeera Aloo and Puri. The Jeera Aloo is perfectly cooked and mildly spicy, and the puris are fluffy and fried perfectly.

INGREDIENTS

  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 1/2 tsp cumin seeds
  • 2 chopped onions and 2 Chopped Tomatoes
  • 1 tbsp coriander powder
  • 1/4 tbsp red chilli powder
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  • 300 grams of boiled potatoes
  • 1/2 tsp garam masala
  • Salt as per taste
  • Coriander leaves
  • Chopped green chillies
  • 1/2 litre oil
  • 500 gram flour

HOW TO PREPARE ALOO JEERA KI SABJI & POORI

    In a heated pan, add oil, cumin seeds, chopped onions and let it turn brown.

    Add chopped tomatoes, coriander powder, red chilli powder, turmeric powder.
  3. 3

    In another bowl, add flour, carom seeds and prepare a soft dough Heat oil in a pan, roll out the poori and deep fry it in the oil until it turns golden.
  4. 4

    Garnish with coriander leaves and serve.
