First fry black gram dumplings then mix boiled potatoes, chopped onion, green chilli, add ginger garlic paste, and other spices for the tomato gravy. Serve it with steaming hot chapatis.

INGREDIENTS

  • 2 tsp Ghee
  • 6 - 7 Amritsari Wadiyan
  • 1 Onion
  • 2 Green Chilli
  • 4 tsp Ginger Garlic Paste
  • 1 tsp Red Chilli Powder
  • Water
  • 1 Tomato Puree

HOW TO PREPARE ALLO WADIYYAN

    Fry the Wadiyyan in ghee until it turns golden brown.
  2. 2

    In the same pan add cumin seeds, chopped green chillies, onions and fry it until it turns light brown.
  3. 3

    Add ginger - garlic paste, red chilli powder, turmeric powder and salt.
  4. 4

    Add coriander powder, cumin powder, tomato puree, water and let it cook.
  5. 5

    In heated oil deep fry the pieces of potatoes add them in the pan and let it cook.
  6. 6

    To garnish add ghee, dried fenugreek leaves, chopped coriander leaves and Aloo Wadiyyan is ready to serve.
