INGREDIENTS

  • 2 tsp red chilli powder
  • 2 tbsp coconut oil
  • 8 - 10 shallots
  • 2 green chillies
  • 1/2 tsp chopped ginger
  • 1 raw mango sliced
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  • 250 ml thin coconut milk
  • 1 cup thick coconut milk
  • 1 pomfret
  • salt as per taste
  • curry leaves

HOW TO PREPARE ALLAPUZHA FISH CURRY

    Heat a pan. In a bowl, add red chilli powder, water and mix it.
  2. 2

    To the pan, add coconut oil, shallots, green chillies, chopped green chillies, ginger and saute. Add sliced raw mango and mix it well.
  3. 3

    Add turmeric powder, chilli mix, water and mix. Add salt as per taste, thin coconut milk. Add marinated pomfret.
  4. 4

    Add curry leaves and mix it well. Add thick coconut milk and switch off the gas. Stir the curry.
  5. 5

    Garnish with curry leaves and serve.
