INGREDIENTS

  • 500 ml of water
  • 1 cup broken wheat
  • 1 onion
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 250 gm of chicken
  • salt as per taste
  • 2 tbsp ghee
  • 5 pearl onions

HOW TO PREPARE ALISA

  1. 1

    In a heated pan, add water, broken wheat. Add chopped onion, cinnamon stick, chicken, salt as per taste and mix it well. Let the chicken boil.

    Remove the chicken pieces from the curry and shred it. Add the shredded chicken back in the curry. Leave it to cook on a slow flame. Extract the cinnamon from the curry.

    In another heated pan, add ghee, chopped pearl onions and let it cook. Add the fried onion in the curry and mix it. Let it cook for 10 - 15 minutes.
  4. 4

    Serve the curry hot and garnish with fried onion.
