INGREDIENTS

  • 500 gm sugar
  • water
  • 150 gm mawa
  • 5 gm black pepper
  • 5 gm cloves
  • 2 cinnamon sticks
  • 10 gm green cardamoms
  • 1 nutmeg
  • 10 gm cobra saffron
  • 1 1/2 tbsp dried ginger powder
  • 1 tbsp long pepper powder
  • 1 tbsp white musli powder
  • 1 tbsp black musli powder
  • 150 gm powdered urad dal
  • 150 gm powdered chana dal
  • 3 tbsp milk
  • 2 tbsp ghee
  • 500 gm ghee
  • 150 gm edible gum
  • 2 tbsp poppy seeds
  • 30 gm pistachios
  • 30 gm almonds
  • 30 gm cashew nuts
  • 1 tbsp saffron

PREPARATION

    Heat water and sugar in a pan to make sugar syrup.

    Saute the mawa in a pan on low heat and set aside.
  3. 3

    Grind black pepper, cloves, cinnamon sticks, green cardamoms, nutmeg, cobra saffron, dried ginger powder, long pepper powder, white musli powder, black musli powder into a fine powder.

    Mix powdered urad dal, powdered chana dal, ghee and milk in a bowl to form a crumble.

    Heat ghee in a pan and add the flour mixture, ground powder, toasted mawa and mix. Add the pistachios, almonds, cashew nuts, saffron, sugar syrup and mix well.

    Pour the mixture on a plate and spread. Garnish it with pistachios, almonds and refrigerate. Cut the adadiya pak into pieces and serve.
