INGREDIENTS

  • *Ingredients : 1) Raw mango - 1 medium sized. 2) jowar flour - 1/2 bowl ( regular kitchen bowl ). 3) garlic - 5-6 units, 3-4 green chillies small sized, mint leaves( 1/2 bowl), coriender( 1 bowl ) 4) cumin powder - 1 and 1/4 tablespoon 5) jaggery - 1/4 bowl 6) salt and black salt as per requirement

    *Procedure : -Soak jowar flour in water for 7 to 8 hours - take 1 litre water add salt to it and let it boil, once boiled add the soaked jowar flour to it and let it cook on low flame. stir occasionally. Once cooked and boiked turn off the gas and let it cool completely - while this is being cooked on other gas keep a raw mango to boil. - when it's cooked peel it off and remove the seed too. Mash it well and mix it with the mixture of flour n water which is cooled. - add cumin powder - add paste of coriender, green chillies, mint, garlic. (Grind in mixer to firm a paste) - add jaggery and mix it well - now add salt and black salt as per taste - traditionally it is kept in "matka" To serve it cold. We can keep it in a fridge too. - serve cold. And Enjoy this healthy summer drink.
