INGREDIENTS

  • For Maa Chole ki Dal
  • 500 gm black gram
  • 250 gm bengal gram
  • 2 tbsp ghee
  • 1 chopped onion
  • 2 dry red kashmiri chilli
  • 1/4 tsp asafoetida
  • 1/2 tsp red chilli powder
  • salt as per taste
  • For Aaloo Beans
  • 3 tbsp oil
  • 2 tsp cumin seeds
  • 1 tbsp turmeric powder
  • salt as per taste
  • 250 gm chopped potatoes
  • 1 tbsp red chilli powder
  • 500 gm chopped french beans
  • 1 cup water
  • For garnish
  • coriander leaves

PREPARATION

    In a heated pan, add cooked black gram and bengal gram.

    For tadka, add oil in a pan.
  3. 3

    Add chopped onion, dried kashmiri chillies, asafoetida, red chilli powder and pour the tadka in the dal.

    Add salt as per taste and mix it.

    For Aaloo Beans, add oil in a heated pan.
  6. 6

    Add cumin seeds, turmeric powder, salt as per taste, chopped potatoes and mix.

    Add red chilli powder, chopped french beans and mix it.
  8. 8

    Add water, chopped coriander leaves and mix.
  9. 9

    Garnish the dal and sabzi with coriander leaves and serve.
