INGREDIENTS

  • 1/2 cup roasted chana dal
  • 1/2 inch ginger
  • 4 - 5 green chillies
  • water as required
  • 2 cups poha (flattened rice)
  • 1/4 cup coriander leaves
  • salt as per taste
  • 3 - 4 tbsp grated coconut
  • 1 tsp powdered sugar
  • juice of 2 lemons
  • 1 tbsp roasted peanuts
  • 1 glass sugarcane juice

PREPARATION

    Grind the roasted chana dal, ginger and chillies into a fine mixture.
  2. 2

    Add water to the mixture, mix well and make small balls.
  3. 3

    In a bowl, mix poha, coriander leaves, green chillies, grated coconut, powdered sugar, salt, lime juice and water.

    Serve the poha in a plate and top it with roasted peanuts and ginger balls. Serve the aale pak with sugarcane juice.
